Kuthiyottam

It involves the participation of volunteer teenage or younger boys who undergo austere conditions throughout the Malayalam month of Kumbham. Clad in ascetic attire, they abstain from consuming meat and partake in simple meals. These devoted boys actively engage in daily prayers at the temple and play integral roles as singers and dancers during the festival proceedings.
