This custom of the deity visiting devotees' homes and receiving offerings symbolizes a direct connection between the divine and the community, fostering a sense of closeness and devotion among the worshippers. Offering paddy or other grains is a traditional practice signifying agricultural prosperity, abundance, and sustenance.
