Thaipooyam
Thaipooyam is a significant festival dedicated to Lord Subrahmanya, celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm. Skanda Shashti
Devotees observe fasts, recite sacred hymns, and participate in temple processions to seek the blessings of Lord Murugan for protection, courage, and spiritual progress. Special prayers and rituals are conducted at Murugan temples, culminating in the Soorasamharam, a reenactment of Lord Murugan's victory over Surapadman, on the final day of Skanda Shashti.
