Ashta Dravya Ganapathi Homam is a significant ritual dedicated to Lord Ganesha, performed to remove obstacles and bring prosperity. This homam involves offering eight sacred substances (ashta dravya) such as coconut, jaggery, ghee, honey, sesame, modakam, sugar, and banana into the sacrificial fire, symbolizing the various aspects of material and spiritual wealth.
