The divine idol installed here represents the world–enchanting form of Krishna endowed with the four lustrous arms carrying the conch, the discus, the mace, and the lotus. Adorned with the divine Thulasi garland and pearl necklaces, the idol represents the majestic form of Vishnu as revealed to Vasudeva and Devaki at the time of Krishnavatharam.

Festivals/Events Celebrated at Sree Narayanapuram Thrikkovil Temple
The annual festival is held in Makkaram and lasts for eight days. Aarattu Mahotsavam – immersion of the procession idols in the river and return of the idol to the temple concludes the festival.
The other festivals organized in the temple are Ashtamirohini, Navarathri Mahotsavam, Thiruvonamuttu, Deepavali, Sivarathri, and Vishu Mandala Vratham. After puja on the festival days, Annadanam – offering of free food to the devotees is held in other temples pan India.
The important pujas held in the temple are Pushpanjali, Thrikkaivenna, Pal Payasam, Kadalippazha Nivedyam and Thirumadhuram. Each of the pujas is conducted by chanting the relevant mantras.
