The benevolent look of Goddess unfolds a thousand lotus flowers of real bhakthi in the minds of devotees. Apart from the main deity, the temple complex consists of Thekkekuttu Bhadrakali temple, temples for Sastha, Siva, Ganapathi, Nagas and other Upa-Devas.
The pleasant atmosphere in the temple give mental peace and harmony to devotees.Regular poojas (rituals) and offerings are conducted in the temple according to traditional customs. Devotees offer flowers, coconuts, and other symbolic items to the goddess as a gesture of devotion and gratitude.

Bharani-Karthika Thiruvulsavam
Most revered festival at the Madathil Bhagavathy Temple, celebrated fervently during the month of Makaram (January/February). This auspicious occasion is marked by the chanting of the goddess's names and mantras, believed to dispel feelings of ignorance and pride akin to flames overcoming darkness.
